New Blog by Rev. Ritsch

Blogspot logoRev. Ritsch has started a St. Stephen blog called “Flowing Streams,” based on Psalm 42: “As a deer longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for you, O Lord.” He’ll keep up a day-to-day account of life at St. Stephen, the things that make us distinctive and unique, and look for (and publish!) feedback from any and all on some of the challenges and possibilities facing our congregation, our community, and the world. Please visit it here, and feel free to throw in your own two-cents worth at!

St. Stephen on Facebook

St. Stephen Presbyterian Church now has a presence on the leading social networking website, Facebook. Facebook is a place where users and organizations can come together in networks to interact with each other. Facebook users can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves.

St. Stephen will be leveraging Facebook to communicate with friends and "fans" (a Facebook term), including TCU students, about the activities taking place in the church. Facebook also allows users to discuss ideas and opinions using the Discussion Board, share their favorite pictures and videos related to St. Stephen, learn about upcoming events such as special services and Special Series events, and share their thoughts about the church and their faith on the St. Stephen Facebook forum known as "The Wall".

To begin using Facebook, you'll need to create a profile (it's free!), set up your profile with some basic information about yourself, search for St. Stephen Presbyterian Church to become a "fan" of the page, start finding and communicating with your friends on Facebook, and participate. That's it!
