Presbyterian Women
Chancel Guild
Responsible for providing the flowers and other seasonal
appointments used throughout the church buildings,
particularly in the Sanctuary. The Guild meets monthly
September-May.
Presbyterian Women Circles
All women of St. Stephen are included in circles. The
circles meet at the following times and locations:
Circle I - meets at the church at 10:30 a.m. on the first
Tuesday of each month in the Eastminster Room for Bible
study and a light lunch.
Circle II - meets at 10:00 a.m. in various members' homes
on the second Tuesday of each month for Bible study and
coffee.
L.O.T.E. - meets at 6:30 p.m. in homes on the third Monday
of each month for Bible study and a potluck supper.
Lydia - meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Northminster Room of
the Education Building on the third
Tuesday with child care and supper provided.
Emergency Relief Committee
Meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
This committee is responsible for keeping the food/clothing
pantry stocked and in good order. This is a ministry our
church offers to the community for persons needing emergency
assistance with food, clothing, etc.
Sandwich Guild
Meets monthly on the third Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to make
sandwiches for the
Presbyterian Night Shelter.
Sewing Guild
Meets on the fourth and fifth Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to sew
school clothes, infant receiving blankets, bandages for
local hospitals and charities and various other
mission-oriented projects.
Visitation Committee
Meets each Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary Sacristy
to prepare and deliver the flowers from the previous Sunday
to sick, home-bound members and friends. Both men and women
are welcome and encouraged to participate in this ministry.
